Vancouver based photographer and director was looking for portfolio that would match here subtile and feminine expression. She also wanted to let the users experiense her work in a immersive non destructive way.

We developed Candace Meyer’s porfolio with on clear priority in mind: leave as much space as possible to her beautiful imagery. Meyer’s work showcases great pieces of conceptual photography, which must live into their specific context. For this reason, we developed the possibility of showcasing the photographs as dyptics without sacrificing the full view of the image, through a smart drag & drop explore function. The website also features a movie player to showcase the short films directed by Candace Meyer herself.

Hierarchical organization of content
The content of the site was organized hierarchically following a two-dimensional space and was centered around the concept of sliding: albums are categorized and displayed vertically, while single images slide horizontally from the sides of the screen.
