Polish contemporary artists came to Sweden during the summer of 2008 to display their art in untraditional places such as at sea, in churches and in virtual worlds. Hyper Island was approached to sort out their online appearance.

The solution showcased the young artists and their different artistic expression in a way that truly portrayed contemporary art as interesting, fresh and new. We delivered a dynamic web solution that takes inspiration from analog art catalogues while offering the possibility to publish both images and videos. The site expands over the visitors full browser window and puts the art in the center of attention while still being highly accessible and user friendly.

To let the visitors say their opinion about the exhibition without risking people expressing inappropriate opinions about single pieces and artists we gave the users the possibility to express themselves visually through symbols.

At the site visitors also can book their tickets to the vernissage, get information about previous and upcoming exhibitions and find travel instructions to the different venues.
